0:00 Introduction and hymn quote
Well, good morning. It's a pleasure to be here again, and I hope you all have a safe and blessed holiday. Praise the Lord, you don't have to get up tomorrow on Monday morning and sleep in a little late. One thing I like about Memorial Day weekend, love to have grilled hamburgers and all those kind of good things and the hot dogs and all those good things. But yeah, have a safe and blessed holiday.
I do not have a Memorial Day message in my way of thinking. Memorial Day is fifty two weekends out of the year, especially at the Lord's Supper. That's the greatest memorial of all. And, what a privilege it is, on the first day of the week to remember the lord Jesus and what he did on the cross for us. That's my memorial day, 52 times out of the year.
I'm gonna read a line from a hymn book. I'm not gonna tell you which one it is, and that'll kinda introduce our subject a little bit. I'm gonna read a line to you from a hymn book. And the words go something like this. Now in a song of grateful praise, to Christ the Lord our voice will raise.
With all thy saints will join the tell. Christ Jesus has done all things well. All worlds, his glorious power confess. His wisdom, all his works express. But oh his love our tongues would tell.
Christ Jesus has done all things well. Samuel Medley wrote that hymn way back in 1738. Well, that would be his birth. He couldn't wrote it then, But he wrote it back in the seventeen hundreds. And mister Medley must have been focusing on this passage we're gonna look at if you turn in your bible to Mark chapter seven verse 37.
When Samuel wrote the great words that had him, he must have been thinking about this passage in Mark chapter seven verse 37. If you'll turn there, please. I'm reading from the King James Bible, the authorized. I realize that nowadays that the saints have different translations. So I'm reading from the King James.
Mark seven thirty seven. The situation is the lord Jesus just performed a miracle. He's... That's all he did when he was here. Well, I shouldn't say that's all he did, but he did wondrous miracles.
He gave sight to the blind. He healed the deaf. He raised the dead. And he just got done doing a miracle to this this man who had a problem. He was deaf and he had an impediment in his speech, and and his ears were open and he talked real plain.
Let's read verse 36 of Mark seven. After he just did that miracle and he charged them, I guess he's talking to the common people that he should tell no man, that they should tell no man. But the more he charged them, so much more a great deal they published it. And they were beyond measure astonishing saying, he has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.
Amen. Well, our meditation's gonna be on that verse. He has done all things well. I guess it was about six months ago I got to thinking about that verse and some of these thoughts came to me and I'm gonna share them with you in a few minutes. The title of my passage today is reminders of our redeemer's regal works and ways.
4:04 Four reminders: He has done all things well
He has done all things well concerning our salvation. He is doing all things well in our sanctification. If you know the lord Jesus as your savior, in the present tense, he is doing all things well concerning our sanctification. And concerning the near future, he will do all things well concerning our glorification. So the lord Jesus has, he is, and he will do all things well.
How can he do anything less? He's perfect. God incarnate. How can god do anything less than all things Lord's Supper, you just went through Colossians one. I love Colossians one, especially that verse about the Lord Jesus that in all things he might have the preeminence, you know, as creator, as sustainer, as owner of all things, as a righteous judge of all things, as a head of the body, and so much more that he might have the preeminence.
And so we're gonna look at a couple of those things, how he is worthy to have the preeminence. Well, back to my first thing I said, how do we know his creation reminds us that he has done all things well? Well, how do we know that? Would you please turn to Genesis chapter one? How do we know the lord Jesus has done all things well?
Well, Colossians one reminds us by him all things were created, And so he is given the credit for being the creator of all things, both visible and invisible, and whether it be thrones, dominions, principalities, or powers. Even though I believe the godhead had a part in creation, the lord Jesus is given the preeminence that he's the great creator. Only because of time, we're not gonna read this great chapter of Genesis chapter one, which is all about creation. Now that first verse, we gotta definitely mention that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And sadly, the times we live in right now, those 10 words are under more attack than ever because ungodliness is increasing in our world and what a sad thing that is.
It's increasing in our culture. Those 10 words are under more attack than ever that people deny the existence of God, and that's a sad thing. Evolution is, of course, a lie from Satan. But you and I know better that he has created all things. So we have the great creation account in chapter one.
You know, the first day he did this, the second day he did this, and so forth and so on. And that's a wonderful thing to meditate on. Jesus being who he is, he just spoke and worlds came into existence. Think about that. He spoke the power of his word.
He spoke and worlds came into existence. There's a commercial by Allstate. I don't know how much television you watch. Allstate, like a good neighbor, you know, he's there and these kids are speaking and all of a sudden there's like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Well, god's, you know, god's greater power is greater than that.
He spoke and worlds came into existence. And and again, we had that great creation account, the stars which are innumerable, though this world, all the creatures in Europe and in the land and the sea and and on and in the air. All these creatures, he spoke them into existence. The wonder of his power and the wonder of his creation. But let's note the last verse in this great chapter verse 31.
So it took him only six days. It took... Well, I mean, he could have done less, of course. It took him six days to make creation. And notice what god says about his own work in verse 31, his own testimony of his unsearchable greatness.
And god saw everything that he had made and behold, it was what? Very good. Notice the adverb. He not only says good, but notice the adverb, how it modifies the word good. It was what?
Very good. Wow. I mean, you know, I tried to... A lot of times when I read my bible, put myself into the circumstance what I'm reading. And I try to visualize that, you know, seven thousand years ago or so, you know, when god created all things and then he created Adam out of dust, that there was a time in world history when everything was perfect.
Everything was pure. There weren't no more cares, there were no more problems, there were no more tears, there was no more death, there was no more disease, everything was perfect and all was peace. And then he created Adam out of the dust and he made wife out of his side. And then sadly, man fell and erect everything. All creation was marred by Adam's sin.
But just think about that. The wonders that there was a time when everything was great, everything was perfect, and and like, you know, God said, he looked on everything and behold it was very good. I would say he did all things well in the beginning. But you know the wonder he gave man a free choice and a free will to make a choice. And sadly, what Adam and Eve did, now, you know, the all creation's marred, but it will be restored someday.
But nonetheless, to give the lord Jesus a glory that when he did it in the beginning, he did all things well until sin entered into the world. Well, let's get a little bit more specific. Let's talk about you and I. He has done it. He has done it well in his creatures.
10:46 Handcrafted by God
Let's look at a few verses and let's really let's really hone in about you and I. You you and I are the crown jewel. You and I are the crown jewel of all God's wondrous creation. Think about that. You and I are the crown jewel of all God's creation.
Psalm one thirty nine, and let's look at verse 12 through 16. David is the author and he says, for thou has possessed my reins, Thou has covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are thy works and that my soul knows right well. My substance was not hidden from thee when I was made in secret and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance yet being on perfect. And in thy book, all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned when as yet there was none of them. Wow. Think about that. When you and I, at one time in our lives, obviously we got people in here from all ages, but how you and I were handcrafted.
If I can use that expression, you and I were handcrafted in our mother's womb. And all the intricacies of that, the wonder that you and I are not only unique among all the people in this world since Adam and Eve, that is no two people being alike in personality, that you and I are unique and we're also distinct from all creation. You and I were what? Created in the image of God. Our pets, our dogs and our cats were not created in the image of God.
You and I have intellect, will, and emotions. I don't know, some people think that animals have emotions. I think it's more instincts, know, some of the things they do. That, you know, intellect, will, and emotion. We have a body, soul, and spirit.
We're tripartite. Animals are only body and soul. They don't have a spirit. They cannot worship God. Did you ever see a dog stand up or with his knees bowed and saying a prayer to God?
Do animals look up? No. Only you and I, can look up and worship God and know God. But think about that, that you and I, as I look out over the audience, there's no two people like in this world since Adam and Eve. Think about that.
You and I are very special, very special to God. We're one of a kind if I can put it that way. And some people might be thinking, thank God there's only one of me. You might be thinking that. But really we're one of a kind created in his image, unique and distinct.
And how do we know? How do we really know that we know that we're we're the crown jewel of God's creation? How do we really know that? Well, we did that this morning. We remember the Lord Jesus in his cross.
You know, God didn't die for junk. He died for you and I, that our sins could be forgiven, that we could have peace with God, that we could have eternal life and all these good things. And we're gonna talk a little bit more about that. The wonder that God left heaven to die on a cross for you and I. His name is Jesus.
14:55 Christ died for us
So many of our goods that we, use in everyday living, they're what? They're mass produced. They're knocked out by the thousands. And only God knows that since 1910, how many tens of thousands and millions of vehicles have what come out of the same mold? But when God created you, my dear brothers and sisters, when he created me, we're not out of the same mold.
We are very distinct, very unique, very precious to God our savior, that's through our souls. What should our response be to these truths? What should our response be? Well, I like what David said in verse I like what he said in verse 13. What should our response be?
I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Would you do that? You know, one thing I forgot to mention, I was listening to a brother preach a couple weeks ago. Amy Carmichael, that great missionary to India, she actually had a grudge against God at one time in her life because God gave her blue eyes, Or excuse me, gave her brown eyes because she wanted blue eyes. She actually had a grudge against God because she wanted blue eyes and God gave her brown eyes.
But God used her mightily in India to what? Reach many, many lost souls. And it must be a heartbreaker to God when you and I are not satisfied with the way we look or the way we were made. It must break God's heart. But I hope that you and I would have a change of attitude and we would give him the glory and say, Lord, you made me this way because it's your...
It's in your wisdom and your will. Would you give him the glory and say, will praise him for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Will you do that? I hope you will do that. And, help us all to do that.
He knows what he is doing when he made you and I the way he made us. He knows what he's doing. Well, not only do we have the reminder that he has done all things well in his creation, but he has done all things well concerning our salvation. How do we know that? Well, how many verses can you think of about the love of Christ and what he did on the cross for us?
The brother mentioned at the day in the Lord's Supper, first Timothy one fifteen. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation that Christ Jesus came into the world to do what? To save sinners. One of his foremost purposes to come into this world, to come down, take on the form of a man was to do what? To save sinners.
Romans five eight, but God demonstrated his love towards you and I that while we were yet sinners, what? Christ died for us. And how many other verses can we think of? First Corinthians fifteen three and four, the gospel in a nutshell. How that Christ died for our sins according to what?
The word of God and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Wow. The wonder that God... I mean, he would come down, take on the form of a man for one purpose, to go to the cross. It's called substitution.
He died in your place. He died in my place. He died for sinners. When I think about diverse for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, there's no distinction between age and gender. There's no distinction.
We're all sinners by birth, nature, and practice. It's our sin that separate us from God. There's nothing we can do to earn God's favor or to earn our way into heaven. But Jesus left heaven to die on a cross and pay for them all. He took, you know, as we read this morning, he bore he bore all our sins in his own body upon the tree.
He paid for them all. He did it all, and he arose again from the grave. Some people... There might be somebody in the audience say, what's the big deal about him dying on the cross and rising from the grave? What's the big deal?
Well, the big deal is because he arose from the grave that you can make a choice of where you're gonna spend eternity. Did you know that? Heaven or hell, you can make a choice. And, I would plead with you if you'd never done that, that you would make the choice that I made fifty two years ago. When I was confronted with my sin and I understood I couldn't save myself, I was convicted my my sin that I was guilty and deserved to go to hell.
And then I heard how Jesus died for me. And then I I understood I was a sinner. I understood I couldn't save myself, and I asked the lord Jesus to save me and forgive me. In other words, faith, hope, trust demands an object, and the Lord Jesus must be that object. He's the only one that can save you and I to the uttermost.
So I would plead with you, if you never made that decision, make it today. Tomorrow might be too late. Death is a respecter of no age or no person. And I will remind you again, your eternity hinges on what you will do with Christ. He's waiting for you.
Will you come to him? Will you believe in him? Will you trust in him? He's the one who can give you eternal life. Blessed be his name.
21:44 He is doing all things well now
And now he lives to secure us. He's the good shepherd of our soul. He's the high priest. He's interceding for you and I right now, and and he sits enthroned at the father's right hand. Well, would you look at first Peter for one minute?
Let's look at first Peter for one minute here. He lives to secure us. I love these verses in first Peter. He lives to secure us. First Peter chapter one, and let's read verses three, four, and five, and eight, and nine.
He's alive. He is our great high priest. He is the good shepherd of our soul. He's leading us through the valleys of life. All these...
He's our provider. He's our shepherd. He's our high priest. He's all these things. But I love first Peter chapter one verse three.
Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again onto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Notice verse four. I hope this verse thrills you. To an inheritance, incorruptible, and undefiled and it fades not away reserved in heaven for you. Raise your hand if you like reservations.
I like reservations. And God's word reminds me that if you know the Lord Jesus as your personal savior, there's a place reserved in heaven for you. It says reserved in heaven for you. Notice verse five. What a promise.
Who are kept by the power of God. You and I, if we trust the Lord Jesus as our savior, we're saved by the power of God, and we're kept by the power of God. Through faith onto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. First Peter one eight. I love this verse about the lord Jesus, whom having not seen, you love.
In whom, though now you see him not yet believing, you rejoice with joy on speakable and full glory, and notice verse nine, receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your soul. The next event on God's calendar is a rapture of the church. That could be in the next heartbeat, the next breath, the next step. It could be today. It could be tomorrow.
But our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. Doesn't that thrill your soul? We're kept by the power of God. We're saved by the power of God. We're kept by the power of God.
And yes, he is coming again. Even though I don't know the hearts and and lives of what's going on in your lives, some of you are going through some trials right now, I hope these verses thrill your soul that we got a blessed hope. We got a blessed hope. Our faith is gonna turn to sight someday. It could be today.
Whether by rapture or resurrection, if you know the lord Jesus as your savior, you and I are eternal winners. We might lose a few battles on this side of heaven, but we're eternal winners. Wow. That's that's that's just so wonderful. Back in August of last year, I read USA Today.
It's it's a liberal newspaper. The only reason I read it is I wanna keep on top of world events and what's going on so I can talk to a stranger about the Lord Jesus and the gospel. So that's the only reason I read it. I don't like the newspaper. But they had in there an article about a soldier to return from Iraq, and this was called a survivor's vow.
He actually had a vow. And star... Staff sergeant Ian Newlin Newlin said, concerning a fellow soldier which died for him, this is what he said. I try not to live my life in vain for what he has done. Now we all like war stories.
I know we do. The wonder that somebody else would die for a fellow soldier, but how much more what the Lord Jesus did on the cross for everyone? You know, when you look at Romans chapter five, it says, you and I were what? Enemies of God. There was nothing good in us.
You and I were enemies of God. So we're not surprised when someone dies for a friend or something like that, but the Lord Jesus died for you and I while we were enemies. And so his sacrifice is the one sacrifice that excels all sacrifices. His sacrifice on Calvary's Cross excels them all. Yes.
Thank god for those soldiers who die for a fellow soldier and how precious that was to staff sergeant Ian Newland. But how much more precious should it be to you and I what Jesus did on the cross for you and I? And so I hope as God knows your life and my life that you and I are not living what? Our lives in vain. Would you turn to first Corinthians chapter five verses nineteen and twenty?
Just for one minute. These verses... I'm sorry. First Corinthians chapter six verses nineteen and twenty. I like these verses very much and I don't know about you, but I constantly need to be reminded of what am I doing with my life.
If I know the lord Jesus... If we know the lord Jesus, our savior, what are we doing with our life? Please note first Corinthians six nineteen and twenty. Paul says, what? Know you not that your body is a temple of the holy ghost which which is in you, which you have of god and you're not your own?
For we are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. You know, for believers, it's a wonderful thing to know you have fire insurance. That's a wonderful thing to know that I have fire insurance, that I will never experience the wrath of God. I will never experience the horrors of the lake of fire for one second. It's a wonderful thing to know that.
But my life is not my own and your life is not your own. What are you doing with your life? What am I doing with my life? Can you and I say before God honestly that are we living for ourselves or are we living onto him? God knows.
I mean, you know, nothing's hidden from him. So I hope and pray, and please pray for me too, that our lives are not living in vain for ourselves, but what? Onto him who who died for us. Well, not only do we have the reminder that the lord Jesus has done all things well in his creation past tense, he has done all things well in our salvation past tense, but let's talk about today. Our sanctification reminds us that he is doing all things well at this present minute as you and I sit here.
30:27 Sanctifying us through His word
He is now sanctifying us through the word of God. Turn to John seventeen seventeen. John seventeen seventeen. What a gift. What a gift this book you and I have in our hands.
Now the Lord Jesus is the unspeakable gift. He's the gift that excels all gifts, but he's invisible. I have never seen him, but I believe in him, but I never seen him. And, you know, he's invisible. He's real, but he's invisible.
And he is the gift that excels all gifts. He is the unspeakable gift, But God has given us the gift of his written word, his inspired word. And I like what the Lord Jesus said in John seventeen seventeen. Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth. Think about this.
Of all the things that you can read under heaven, all the books that exist, all the libraries that exist, all the media that exist that you and I can read. Just like the Lord Jesus is incomparable, this book that you and I have is incomparable. It is alive. It is powerful. It is sharper than any two edged sword.
It is the only source of truth in this whole world under heaven. Do you believe that? It's the only source of truth in this whole wide world under heaven. Do you believe that? What does the Bible says?
Satan is the father of lies. And we know that the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one. How many people, maybe family and friends, or how many people, coworkers, do you and I know that they just don't what? Like Pilate, what is truth? Or they don't like the truth.
You know, sometimes the truth offends. Sometimes it hurts. But God's word, I mean, it's alive, it's powerful, it's food for the soul, it's a lamp, it's encouragement, it's strength, It's medicine. This book to me is a supernatural medicine. It excels everything you could possibly read or ever seek.
This book, it's just, I mean, it's teeming with truth and treasure. How much time do we invest in it? Do we invest time in it? It changes lives. God's in the business of changing lives inside out, not outside in.
The world says change from the outside. God says, I want you to change from the inside. And this book is the only book that can change our lives. It changed me. I know it's changing you.
I like a bumper sticker, have patience with me. God's not done with me yet. I haven't reached perfection in either of you. But thank God for these truths that that show me where I'm wrong. You know, all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable.
For what? For instruction. No. For doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that what? The man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped onto every good work.
Are we taking the time? Are we investing time in this book to affect our lives and change our thinking? Attitude, I need a constant attitude adjustment. What about you? My attitude is constantly changing because of this book and and God wants to do the same thing for you and I.
34:56 All things work together for good
No thanks to Adam and Eve when they sin, problems come into the world. Death, disease, heartache, broken lives, sometimes a loss of peace, discouragement, you name it. But what I love is if you'll turn to Romans chapter eight verse 28, Some of you right now are going through a tremendous trial. You may not verbalize it. You got a tremendous heartache right now.
You might be really discouraged because of something. And sometimes we wonder where God is. Even as Christians sometimes we wonder where God is. Or why is he allowing us to go through some trial? Why is he allowing that?
Now if there's some obvious sin in your life then you shouldn't be surprised. You know, God never told Job why he allowed him to suffer. Did he ever tell him? Did he have to tell him? God called Job a righteous man.
So you don't think Job wasn't, you know, what did I do wrong? Well, look at Romans chapter eight verse 28. These verses give me a tremendous peace in the midst of my trials and troubles and problems and discouragements. Romans eight twenty eight, and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Notice the text doesn't say a few things.
It does not say a few things. It says all things. Work together for good. All the trials, all the tears, all the troubles, all the frustrations, even though you and I don't understand, may never understand this side of heaven, they're all working for one thing. And notice the verse 29 is the answer what these are all working for.
For whom he did foreknow, did also predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Our father's singular purpose for your life is that all things would work together that you and I may be conformed to the image of his son. Every tear, every trial, every trouble, every temptation, every heartache, every discouragement is working together for one purpose, to conform us to the image of his son. Now the Lord Jesus experienced all the things we'd experience, but without sin. I hope this is an encouragement for you.
Don't try to figure out God in all your trials. Don't try to figure him out. It'll only add to your problem. Just say, Lord, I wanna trust you. I don't understand, but I wanna trust you.
Attitude is the most important ingredient in life. Did you ever think about that? Attitude, your attitude, and my attitude is the most important ingredient in life. I like what Fanny Crosby wrote in hymn number four seventy six. Fanny Crosby was made blind by the slip of the surgeon's knife.
My understanding is she actually went back to him later in life and thanked the surgeon for doing that. If you and I happened, you and I, we'd be thinking about lawsuit and making money. But notice what Crosby's attitude was in her trial. All the way my savior leads me. What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt his tender mercy who through life has been my guide? Heavenly peace, divine as comfort, hereby faith in him to dwell. For I know whatever befall me, Jesus doeth all things well. That is a tremendous line written by a sinful mortars saved by the grace of God. I don't know what you're going through right now, but I hope you can I hope you can take on that attitude?
Lord, I wanna trust you. I hope that would be your attitude too, what Fanny just wrote to us. Well, not only has the lord Jesus had done all things well in creation, past tense, he has done all things well in our salvation, past tense. He has done all things well now in our sanctification, present tense. And our last one is he will do all thing...
40:26 He will do all things well: Glorification
He is gonna glorify us with new body. Blessed be his name. Just think about that. Someday I'm gonna trade in this body for another one. I believe it'll be a reconstituted body.
I won't be wearing any more glasses. I won't have any more zits. I won't have any more... Well hopefully I have hair. By the way I like to have a beard like Moses had in the 10 commandments.
I'd like to have a beard if the Lord will do that. But anyway we're gonna get a new body. He's gonna glorify with a new body. That's a promise. You were in Colossians one.
He's gonna glorify us by presenting us faultless. He's gonna glorify us by presenting us faultless, And he will glorify us by rewarding us. We will look at first Corinthians chapter three. A day is coming when the Lord Jesus is gonna reward us. Look at first Corinthians three and we'll wrap it up here in a minute.
Look at first core chapter three and let's read verses nine through 15. So he will glorify us by transforming us with new bodies. He will glorify us by presenting us faultless before his presence and he will glorify us by rewarding us. I'm reading first Corinthians three verse nine through 15. For we are laborers together with God.
You are God's husbandry. You are God's building. Paul says according to the grace of God which is given unto me as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation and other build thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man or woman build upon the foundation gold, silver, precious stone, wood, hay, stubble, every man's work shall be made manifest for the day shall declare it because it shall be revealed by fire. And the fire shall try every man's work of what work a sort it is. If any man's work abide which he has built thereon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so is by fire. Think about this.
God has given you a gift or gifts. He has given me a gift or gifts. Are we using them? Are we living our life with the intent of earning those rewards, whether it be a big thing or a little thing, a private thing or a public thing. The lord Jesus will will test all our works, whether, you know, again, if it's gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or stubble.
But I do wanna remind you, and I'll admit in one sense, I'm not looking forward to this scene, but there is a day of accountability for you and I where we will give an account of God and what we have done with our lives. It's my prayer for you and pray for me that we are building upon his foundation gold, silver, and precious stones. But there is a day of accountability coming. How and what are you doing with your life and what am I doing for my life? Are we living for Jesus?
There is a day of accountability. One of my favorite hymns, not in the Red Hymn Book, is by Charles Wesley, love divine, all loves excelling. One of the verses in that great hymn, finished in thy new creation, pure and spotless let us be. Let us see thy great salvation perfectly finished in thee. And I love these words.
Change from glory into glory till in heaven we take our place, till we cast our crowns before thee, lost in wonder, love and praise. Wow. That that's just tremendous what what what what he has done for us, past, present, and future. I'm just gonna read one line from the hymn. We'll close in prayer.
That, by the way, I read from page 24, Christ Jesus has done all things well. The last the last line of the hymn says, and when on that bright day we rise and join the anthems of the skies, in heavenly songs this note shall swell. Christ Jesus has done all things well. That's a near future event. I hope you and I are excited about that.
There's gonna be millions on high, and I guarantee you, we will give back to the Lord. You know, he has done all things well. Amen? Well, let's close in prayer. Our father in heaven, thank you for reminding us of the perfections of your son, the glories of your son, the lord Jesus.
Thank you for reminding us how wonderful he is, how awesome he is in ways that we can't even utter. Even with the help of the holy spirit and the word of god, we can't utter. And thank you for reminding us the lord Jesus has done all things well in his creation. He has done all things well in our salvation. Blessed be his name for that.
He is doing all things well today, 05/26/2013. He will do all things well tomorrow concerning our sanctification and some near future minute, hour, day when the trump shall sound and we shall be with him forever and ever, he will do all things well in our glorification. Blessed be his name. And father, help us to remember these things, these truths, and help us to respond with praise and thanksgiving and a life lived for our Lord Jesus. Truly he is worthy and he's just incomparable.
God help us to live for him and to share with others. We're saved to tell others that they can enjoy these things too. Help us to do that today and the rest of the days of our life. And we ask these things in Jesus name, amen.
