Outline and transcript
0:00 Paul's exhortations to Timothy
And I would like us to close out the day strong as we look at Paul's exhortations to Timothy. I know I promised something else on the list but I didn't get finished with this part of the message from this morning and to me, this is a very important part because it says, has some great application to our young people and I just can't skip it. So, we're going to look at this this evening. I will try to do a little combining of what we have on the list for tonight and tomorrow for tomorrow's message but I want us to look at Paul's exhortations to Timothy in the first epistle and we'll break it down further and look at the ones that are in his second epistle and we will do that all in the next forty minutes. So, we will be running pretty hard at this pace but I believe it should be encouraging to you.
Let's go to the lord and ask him for prayer and strength and then we'll hit the ground running. Dearly father, we just thank you. We thank you for loving us. We thank you for your word. We thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your word.
We thank you for the opportunity to sing praises to you. We just are reminded in that last song that we sang that we have a worthy savior. Amen. And he's worthy because he was slain for people like us. What a glorious savior we have.
One day, father. One day, father. We will be in his presence and oh what a day that will be. Until we get there, help us to learn from men like Paul and Timothy, to walk according to the ways laid out for us so that others will come to see our wonderful savior through our walk and actions and words. We pray this in Jesus name.
Amen. Paul's excercations to Timothy looking in first Timothy. So, begin in chapter one, chapter one and we will go through these rapidly because well, we must. But we look at first Timothy chapter one and verses eighteen and nineteen, we see this word this charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee that thou by them mightest war a good warfare. You're to see this word charge in this context about four times in the epistles of Timothy.
The word charge itself, I believe, shows up eight times. There are two different words for it. We're not gonna dwell on that but you'll notice this in the old King James. You might have a different word in your ESVs or New American Standards or New King James versions. I'm not here to say which one is best.
I'm just saying you're going to see different words. When I was reading through mine, that word charge kept coming up, kept coming up. So, look for it in whatever translation you have and you will see that this is Paul giving an earnest exhortation to Timothy to do something. In this case, he tells them that you need to or he tells him, you need to war a good warfare. Holding faith and a good conscience.
Folks, I don't know if you grasp this. And I say that rhetorically. That's not not true. I I know that you understand this at some level. But we are hated by Satan.
We are hated by the world. We are hated by our flesh. We are enemies of this present world. And if we are not acting like enemies of this present world, what does James tell us? That we are adulterers and adulteresses because we have loved this present world.
We'll see in in second Timothy, Demus. What did Demus do? He abandoned Paul having loved this present world. Both old folks, young folks, middle aged folks, all of us are capable of abandoning the warfare, abandoning the fight. Because we love either our flesh or we love some other element of this present world.
5:13 I charge you, war a good warfare
The reason I can do that is because I don't like people and I don't hang out with them very much, okay? It's somewhat a joke but there's a reason that I stay on a tractor all day long because I kind of enjoy being out by myself hanging out with the critters and the sun and the rain and whatever's there. If you put me, I'm not opposed to being with human beings. I think I've interacted tolerably with y'all today. I do speak publicly.
I I am friendly but if you were to ask my wife where I'm most comfortable, it's either with a small group of people that I'm intimately comfortable with or I'm by myself. I can ride hours without saying a word. You find that shocking, I know. If you want an honest truth, I would not get up and drive to Cleveland to speak to folks that I don't really know if I wasn't compelled by what the lord has given me. It might not be a great gift but I am supposed to use it and so I I go all kinds of places meeting all kinds of people that that I don't know.
What does that have to do with this past? I'm supposed to pray and give thanks for all people. Even the guy that cut me off in traffic. Even the guy that says awful things about my family. In some ways, I'm supposed to pray for that individual.
Am I supposed to pray for their success in life? That's not what... Pray for them. Pray for them. So many times we give up on praying for people because we just don't like them, and we need to honestly come to grips with that.
And Paul who's about to die for the faith, Paul says pray for everybody. I'm not standing before you saying, I have licked this problem. I have not. But I am telling you that's what the Bible says. And young people, if you can grasp this earlier before things ossify, before things harden, before the arteries of your heart become thick, you have a much better chance of following through with Paul's exhortation to pray earnestly to give thanksgiving.
A third exhortation comes in chapters two and three. We don't have time to read all of this, and Andy alluded to this to a certain degree. It's the establishment of church order. The establishment of church order, why do I count this as an exhortation? We'll look over in chapter three and verses fourteen and fifteen and you'll read these words, these things, right eye unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly, but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou ought to behave yourself in the house of god which is the church of the living god, the pillar, and ground of the truth.
Why did Paul write chapters two and three to Timothy? It was to set in order the things that were necessary for the local church and in that, you will see different offices and the requirements for these offices. You'll also see this. I do want you to see. I I I promise that we talk a little about relationships in this book.
There is this idea that in verse five of chapter three, for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of god? Elders, deacons, whatever offices that you have here. Your first goal, your first responsibility having met the requirements that god sets out is to care for the flock. If you don't care for the flock, what good is your relationship to them? And so as we look at what Paul says to Timothy when he sets out the this church order which by the way folks, you need to understand that in itself is a discussion of a relationship.
What is the church? You have to go back to Ephesians. Church is the bride of Christ. He gave his body. He gave his blood.
He gave himself so that he could present to himself a bride and one day, that bride is going to be spotless. It's going be pure and he's going to present it to himself. And so when we look at this establishment of church order, you need to understand young people that that obeying what the scriptures say regarding the church and your place in it is important to god. And elders, you need to understand that as Peter says, you are not to be a lord over the flock. You're to care for them.
11:39 Be an example to believers
There are other relationships that we've alluded to that we will talk about that we won't dwell on. We already saw the relationship between Paul and Timothy. We've already already mentioned Lois and Eunice but that's another thing that I would just like to stress to you young people. You're in the process of of either beginning new families or trying to negotiate negotiate yourself into the beginning of a new family. Most folks in here at that age are trying to figure out where they fit, how it's going to work out.
Do you notice what Lois and Eunice did? They had their child, their grandchild in the scriptures. They had him in the scriptures and if we look at first or second Timothy chapter three, Paul says that from a child, you have known the holy scriptures. So, young people, It is a non negotiable for walking in the will of god as expressed by Paul to us through the books of Timothy that you pour into your children, the word of god. That relationship is essential.
Does it mean that your child will not go astray? Does it mean that you will not have sorrow in this life? Does it mean that your child will be spared from all of Satan's? No, it doesn't. But it is a absolute prerequisite to a child that will grow to being a Timothy, a Timothy.
If you've looked at Timothy like Paul and seen what a glorious servant of god he was and you say, I'd like my kid, my son, my daughter to grow up to be like Timothy, you as a young person need to make the decision now to pour into your child the holy scriptures. This next exhortation, we'll look at first Timothy chapter four verses 12 through 16. And I would... You can spend a whole message on this, but we don't have time to do that. But I really want you young people to pay attention to this.
I really want you because Timothy is being spoken to directly in this passage. Paul is is saying, Timothy, this is for you. This is the passage that I sent my children away to college with. Before they went, I I I wanted them to know that wherever they were going to fellowship, that these are important important for taking your place in a local fellowship. Notice in chapter four verse 12 in in first Timothy, we write...
We read these words. Let no man despise thy youth but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee which was given thee by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things, give thyself holy to them that thy profiting may appear to all.
Take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine, continue in them for in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear you. Young people, can you actually stop people from despising your youth? Do you have control over that? The answer to that is no. You really can't stop what Brian thinks about you.
Now, I'm sure he has a high view of all the young people here. I've I've we've had extensive conversations about how great you are. That's kind of a, that's not true. We have it but I'm just saying, I'm sure he has great views of you but you can't make him think differently of you if he's decided in his mind that I just don't like young people, right? But what Paul is saying is not stop people by force from thinking badly of you or despising your youth or saying, you're just junior varsity.
Okay? You cannot stop people by some kind of magic wander force. He's telling Timothy, there are prescribed routes to take in how you live your life. Amen. And if you live this way, there will be no way that anyone can actually despise your youth.
Legitimately. He's saying, do not do things that give people the right to despise your youth. That's what he's saying and so what are some of those things here in this passage? He says, be thou an example to the believers. Be thou an example to the believers.
Young people, do you contemplate on a regular basis how you can evidence the fact that you are a born again son or daughter of the lord Jesus Christ in such a way that the fellow folks at your meeting go wow. That young person loves Jesus. Wow. That young person models obedience. That young person does things that are impressive in service to the lord Jesus.
People tend not to despise those things that they praise Like, I don't praise North Carolina barbecue. It's really vile. Now, it's it's it's pork. It's I I had to say something. Andy was struggling.
19:42 Don't cover yourself, prove yourself worthy
That's just smack talk amongst southern boys regarding barbecue, okay? So, it's just one of those things that we talk. Folks, don't cover yourself. Don't douse yourself. In the things of this world, and expect older saints to give you the reigns to a ministry or an opportunity.
How do you prove yourself worthy? You walk as a worthy follower of Jesus Christ. That's what Paul is telling Timothy and notice he's telling this to Timothy in about '62 or '63. What has Timothy been doing for ten years? Timothy has been walking worthy.
He didn't just show up and say, hey, now it's time for me to be in leadership. I feel it's time. He walked worthy. He got sent to churches across Asia Minor. He showed up in hard places.
He did the time with Paul in prison going to visit. He did all of these things. And still, Paul says to him, there going to be people that look at you because you're young and they're going to despise your youth, you continue to walk worthy as an example to the flock, to the church, to the world. How is he to be an example in his word, in his life, in his love, in his spirit, in his faith, and in his purity? We can all say marvelous things at the lord's supper.
We can all say marvelous things when we're in a Bible conference. At Youth Group, we can sound mighty, holy. How do you sound when you get in an argument with somebody in the parking lot over this? How do you sound when somebody cuts you off in traffic? How do you sound when somebody spreads a rumor about how do you sound?
I know I don't want you to hear how I sound, and I'm ashamed of that. I'm telling you, Paul says to Timothy, your word matters. Your conduct matters. Your life, your conversation, it matters. Young people, do not try to fool people into giving you responsibility that your heart and your commitment to Jesus Christ cannot cash.
I am telling you through the word of god by that which was given by Paul to Timothy that if you live as an example in word, in life, in your love to those in the assembly, to those around. If you show that spirit that is that of a Christian, a faith that is one that points to Jesus Christ in how you walk. If you act impurity, folks will not despise your youth. They will not. And if they do, they are the ones with no leg to stand upon.
That word purity gives us a chance to run over to a little side trip to relationships in the book. If you look at verse one of chapter five, we see rebuke not an elder but entreat him as a father and the younger men as brethren. The elder women as mothers, the younger as sisters, with all purity. With all purity. Folks, if you want to be an example to the flock, if you want to be an example to flock, you've got to be sexually pure.
You've got to treat those that are in your Christian family as pure because they are your sisters in Christ, and you've got to treat those outside the world or outside in the world with purity because they're on their way to hell. Have you ever thought that you sleeping with somebody could seal their eternal doom? Because they say Christians are not different than anybody else in the world. They're not different than anybody else in the world. Again, I don't point to this because I have absolute pristine passages in my past.
I point this out to you because this is what the word of God says. And if you want to not be despised for your youth, you have to act with maturity in things of the flesh, and it is a very difficult fight. A very difficult fight. Before we leave this part, rebuke not an elder but entreat him as a father and the younger men as brethren. I am all for a good spirited debate.
You want to bring it on? Let's have fun. But if you cannot debate the things of this world, politics, the inferiority of Ohio State football, I just want to see if you're awake. Man, y'all are y'all are y'all are dim tonight. I should've got books thrown at me.
Back home, you might have heard something, you know, but, you know, if you can't sit down and drink coffee or sweet tea or Diet Coke or whatever it is that you drink after you've had a discussion, you might wanna sit back and say, I took that too far. I I need to beware of how I say things. I've been in a lot of battles within certain circles. And a lot of times, I was absolutely right. I have no shame in saying that I stood up for what was right but in almost all cases where it got too heated, I can say, I didn't execute that properly.
What does Paul say to Timothy? Please be careful in your love and that includes when you're dealing with disagreements that you might have with older men and older men. When you're dealing with younger men, remember they are your brothers. They are not your servants. They are not your children.
They are your brothers. And if we actually follow these relationship tips in accord with what Paul says to Timothy in chapter four, we might actually do a lot of growing in our intergenerational relationships Speeding along, Paul says, be growing. He says, give attendance which means to pay attention to what? Reading, exhortation to doctrine. He says, utilize your gifts, meditate, pursue them wholeheartedly.
28:57 Discovering and utilizing your spiritual gifts
It's not. This is your gift. Let me tell you what your gift is. I have no idea. I know that there's a list of em in four places.
Okay? Romans 12, first Corinthians 12, Ephesians four, and Peter four, okay? Those are your places. You know how you find out what your gift is? Work.
Work. What is Paul telling Timothy? Take a quiz, go to the elders, and say, give me this job. Any chance you can get that interpretation. Go to college.
Get a degree. In intercultural ministries, go back to your local church and say, college degree. Imma just tell you they inflated your grades anyway. I'm in college education. You're probably not as smart as you think you are.
I'm not as smart as I think I got. I am and I have a PHD. I'm just telling you folks, that is not how you get knowledge of your spiritual gifts. Young people, please hear me. Do not waste your time looking for some guru to tell you this is what you're gifted at.
What you do is you work wherever there's opportunity and you work hard and you show up and you put yourself to the grindstone and guess what the spirit of god does through that? He reveals to those around you. He reveals to your heart those things which move you and he has enabled you to do. Folks, we need to get rid of this worldly system of checking boxes to serve the lord. We go to the scriptures.
We read the scriptures. We see what Timothy is told to do. We see what Paul tells Timothy to do and I'm just hollering very loud so you stay awake till we make it to supper so that you do what they say do which is work. Work. It is amazing.
It is amazing how we think that an athlete can become quarterback in a pro system based solely on natural talent. They have natural talent. Don't don't get me wrong. But there are millions of people with natural talent. How do they get to those?
They work. They work. They work. The gifting of the spirit of god is a sovereign gift of god to every believer. I might not have the same gifts you do.
You may not have the same gifts that I do but we are gifted sovereignly by the word of by the spirit of god and we utilize those through work. We discover those through the body of Christ and the working of the spirit in our lives. Folks, young people, don't waste your lives. Don't waste your lives of service sitting there waiting for someone to tell you, we'll have a job for you in six months. We'll have a job for you in twelve months.
Your service to the kingdom, not really king, the church can wait. No. Go back to your local church and say, what do you have for me to do? You might find out that teaching 12 year old Sunday school kids is not your gift. You might but you might discover, oh my, the lord has gifted me in teaching.
How did you figure that out? Not by a quiz but because you went in there and did. It's still god given the gift. Do not mistake it. It's you're not earning the gift.
It's given to you. But your exercise of that gift comes through exercise across a range of responsibilities in the New Testament church. There might be some that disagree with me, and I'm okay with that disagreement. I will still drink sweet tea with you on this, but I am fundamentally opposed. Fundamentally, with all of my being, opposed to this idea that you can personalize your way into a gift or you can personalize your way into a test that tells you, go serve Jesus, and he will reveal what he has for you to do.
34:02 Don't be distracted, preserve ministry
Timothy is not saving anybody. He's not saving himself. Who saved Timothy? Who saved Timothy? Okay, I'm hearing.
Boy, y'all are real real happy to say Jesus saved somebody. Let me go out on an evangelistic tour with you folks. Who saved us? Jesus. Jesus.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Jesus saved Timothy. Timothy's work was not going to save anybody in the sense of eternal salvation but what Peter, what Paul is saying to Timothy is if you do these things, young man, if you do these things, young man, you will preserve yourself from destruction and you'll preserve those that hear you from destruction because if you don't do these things, you're impure, you're not applying doctrine, you're not doing this, you're not doing that, you're going to destroy yourself and your ministry.
That's what he's saying with save yourself and those that hear you. Young people, let no man despise your youth. Don't give them a reason to. Go back and study this passage. Next thing we wanna look at is in first Timothy chapter six verses 11 through 16.
11 through 16, we see these words, but thou, oh man of god, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Sounds like fruit of the spirit. But thou, oh man of god, flee these things. Follow after righteousness. Fight the good fight of faith.
Lay hold on eternal life where into thou art also called and has professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of god who quickens all things and before Christ Jesus who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession that thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our lord Jesus Christ which in his times, he shall show who is the blessed and only potentate, the king of kings, the lord of lords, who only hath immortality dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto whom no man had seen nor can see to him the honor and power everlasting. Amen. This exhortation by Paul is saying to Timothy, be a man. Man of god, woman of god, what do you need to do?
Four Fs, quickly. You flee. What are you fleeing? And it's listed all those things above but in a generality, flee the love of material things. And the lusts of the world.
Flee. The second F in verse 11, follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness. Follow them. Flee from that which is evil. Follow that which is good.
The third thing, fight the good fight of faith. Did we start with a war? Did our first statement say, war, the good fight? Yes, it did. Back in first Timothy chapter one verse eighteen and nineteen.
Fight the good fight. You also remember what Paul said in the end of second Timothy, I have fought the good fight. Man or woman of god, young man or young woman of god, you must flee from those things that will cause you to look away from Jesus, whether that be material wealth or fleshly lust. Young man or young woman of god, old man, old woman of god, whatever it is, follow after righteousness. Fight the good fight until the end and then in verses 12 to 16, we see this, fasten.
Fasten or lay hold of. What do you delay hold of? Eternal life. What do we lay our talents into? We hold on to this life with all that we can.
I want this. I want that. Paul says to Timothy, no. You must lay hold. Fasten your grip on eternal life and your testimony.
39:07 Keep the commandment without spot
He knows that that's something that just will be a difficult struggle And yet he asked us. He commands us. What else are you to keep? Keep in sight. In verses 13 through 16, the example of the lord Jesus until he returns.
Keep yourself in service by utilizing things like your gifts to the only potentate, the king of kings, the lord of lords. Folks, do you know who we serve? You don't serve your elders? You don't serve this local church as a, you know, at the end of the day, yes, you do in a local level. Yes, you do obey the the elders of leadership.
Yes, you do those things. That's all part of what's laid out but in the end, who are they? They are under shepherds of who? The chief shepherd, the king of kings who's coming to rule and reign in power and might. If we actually grasp hold of that, it might make our relationship with those that are above us or those that maybe younger, different.
I am serving the king who left glory to die for a wretch like me, perhaps I should live in such a way that shows his love horizontally to those around me. Folks, Paul is saying, you serve the one who will will reveal the power in the universe. That is your God if you know the lord Jesus Christ. Well, I've got two minutes. The good thing is I have all of these pretty quickly.
But in second Timothy, the last point, Paul's exhortations in his last letter. The good news for you, they're all F words. They're all F words. Yes, you can congratulate me after this on my incredible consonants but if you look in second Timothy chapter one verse six, Paul exhorts Timothy to fan the flame of what? His gift.
Remember, we just talked about discovering, working, utilizing your gift. Paul looks at Timothy and says, you, don't put your gift under a bushel. Fan the flame. Use it. It's a gift from god.
Don't hide it. Don't be like that guy that knew that his boss was an austere man and buried his talent. You bury your gift. You are bearing a gift from god almighty that he gave to you because you came into a relationship with him and he wants you to use it. Fan, the flame.
In second Timothy chapter one verse seven, Paul says, fear not. We are not given the spirit of fear but of a sound mind. In second Timothy one thirteen, two, 22, and three ten, Paul says to Timothy, follow. Follow. Three times.
We don't have time to go into all of that but you can go look at that. Hold fast the form of sound words which thou heard of me in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus and it says, in this hold fast, follow these words, follow what I have to say. In the fourth F is the word fight. Do we keep hearing this word fight? We are really good at fighting amongst each other.
Is that what he's saying? No. No. He is saying fight. Be strong.
In chapter two verse one, endure hardship. In chapter two verse three. Notice this in chapter four verse 13. Go there for just a moment. In four thirteen, it tells us, the cloak that I left at Troaz with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee in the books but especially the parchments.
Flip back to verse 11. Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with thee for he is profitable to me for the ministry. Older folks in this room. Pay attention to me very very much.
You believe in the imminent return of Christ. I'm fairly sure that's what y'all teach here. I know that you want to remain faithful to the end. Paul is in prison about to have his head chopped off and what is he preparing for? What is he planning?
44:29 Continued ministry, don't give up
We'd started this whole story back where? At Lystra, when Timothy is brought on, Timothy is brought on to the second missionary journey by Paul and Silas. Why is it Paul and Silas? Because Barnabas and Paul had split up over an argument over John Mark. Twenty years later, twenty years later or almost twenty years later, Paul is saying, bring John Mark.
He is useful to the ministry. Older folks, don't give up on younger folks simply because they fail. Don't do it. Did Jesus give up on you? Did he?
Go look in the mirror and answer that question. You don't have to tell me. I already know the truth. I already know the answer. Then, focus.
Focus. Chapter two verse two, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others, Paul tells Timothy. Chapter two verse seven, consider what I say, meditate, contemplate. The lord will give insight. Chapter two verse eight, remember the gospel.
He also says, remind people of the gospel and the truth. The verb tense here indicates that this was to be a regular practice of Timothy. Folks, together, we are to remind people of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. If you're here today and you don't know the lord Jesus as your savior, please talk to me or talk to someone here. We'd love to show you.
If you know the lord Jesus, why are you and I not speaking regularly about it? We'll talk about this some more tomorrow. In chapter two verse 15, we're to study. In chapter two verse 16, we're to shun and avoid. In verse 23, vain and foolish babbling.
We'll talk about that. We're to continue in chapter three verse 14. Finally, finally, in chapter four, we're to feed. We're to feed. It says in in chapter four verse two, preach the word, be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering.
Always be ready. And then finally, well, I wanna... I'm gonna stop. I gotta I gotta I gotta tell you a story. I know I'm going over and I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. I told you that my cow, you'll remember this. This is a story that you will remember and they'll tie into what we're doing. Remember, I told you my cow was bloated. I told you this morning, last night, it was one of those deals where bloat means it just puffs up, got too much of something, and gas just bloats of it and it basically becomes a vice on the lungs.
And so as the animal expands, the cow can't breathe. Okay? The cow can't breathe and eventually succumbs to suffocation, asphyxiation, whatever it is. It can't breathe. My buddy who is an actual cattlemen, not a man with cows.
He actually knows what he's doing. He was checking my cows. What does he do? He finds the cow lying on the ground. He said it was so bloated.
It looked like it'd been dead for days, okay? He goes with his truck to the cow. He looks in his truck. He has nothing that you would use for the procedure and what you have to do with the bloated calf is you have to puncture the sidewall of the cow to release the gas so that the body compresses and the lungs can expand. My body has none of the fancy stuff that you have to do that.
He's looking around. He has his Leatherman. He has his Leatherman and my buddy goes with his Leatherman, bam. Pops the side of the cow, looks for an outlet like a conduit, a piece of conduit, anything like that that he can slide into the into the wound so that the gas can't escape. I'm not telling you that so that you go out experiment with gas in cows.
I am telling you, what was he? He was instant in season and out of season. We are to give the gospel. We are to preach the word. We are to be examples whether we feel it and have all the materials or don't.
We are to be those. Because we follow the Lord Jesus, we're to be those that are ready. If you didn't understand the application, see me during supper. Last, Paul says to Timothy, fly. Fly.
Get here. Verse nine and verse 21, he says, don't delay. Join me. Join me. Why?
49:55 Exhort each other like Paul did Timothy
Let's exhort each other like Paul did Timothy in all of these different ways across these books. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for allowing me to go through the books with you. Dear heavenly father, just help us, we pray. Thank you for the opportunity to look at this relationship and for the exhortations and injunctions that you have for us through Paul.
I pray for this assembly. I pray for the young people. I pray for the older folks. I pray that together, they would do mighty things for you in this community. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
And it's in your precious name we pray. Amen. Amen.
