Outline and transcript
0:00 Mission trip to Veracruz, Mexico
If you can pop up the pictures. What we do is we go to Veracruz, Mexico, it's in Southern Mexico in the mountains, and this here is the first assembly or first church that they reached out and started in the mountains. This is the first group, and this is a building that one of the mission trips actually built. And so this group since then has like tripled in size, but this is what we do. If we do do, when we do the mission trip in September, September 12 is the day that we're leaving, we're probably gonna, the men will stay in this building.
It has bathrooms and kitchen facilities in the back. So this is one of the places where we'll stay. Just so you can get a little perspective, that's probably 7,500 feet in elevation, so it's quite high in the mountains. And the majority of these people are Mexican or Aztec Indian people who we reach out to. So if you're interested in coming, right now I was able to obtain some airplane tickets leaving September 12, Friday morning, for $435 all the way to Mexico City round trip.
That's an incredible price. But in order to get that price, you need to get with me before May 1. Now you don't have to have all the money. All I need is $100 down and we'll be able to hold your ticket. So it's quite the thing.
So if you're interested in doing a mission trip, September 12, this is a good opportunity and it's very economical for the twelve day trip. Let me show you the next picture. This is a group, for example, of ladies that were reached for the Lord and their families. And the missionaries in the right hand corner, she goes there and they disciple these people once they trust the Lord. So this is a little group in a village in the mountains that they won to the Lord.
Next slide. The yellow that you see represents the home based town, and from there they go into the mountains. So all the little white that you see, the little numbers, those are churches that they've established by going out and evangelizing the little towns and starting little assemblies. Now this was about ten years ago, and since then it's doubled in size. So they have like twice as many assemblies started.
And so when we go there's quite a bit of work to do evangelism. Also, I'm taking some doctors and nurses with me, so we're gonna be doing medical outreach. And besides evangelism and doing some other work, it's a very interesting trip. You'll be very blessed by coming along. Okay, the next slide.
This is an example of the village. The picture's being taken from one of the churches that were established. The picture's looking out into the valley, and so you can see all the homes. So you go into the homes, into the mountains, and you go into there and you evangelize and talk to them. Also the doctors will set up in the church, and we'll invite them to come to the church building, and they'll do the medical treatments for them and such.
So next slide. This is an example of the evangelist or the team going out and reaching these people for Christ. And they don't have a building yet, and so they meet out in the open air. And so some of my mission trips that I do is we go and we build a church building for these people to be able to meet. And so this group was started probably about ten years ago, and since then it's probably tripled in size, just to give you an idea.
And here's another example of another group reached for the Lord. They didn't have a building, so they just set up benches and they ministered to them. At this particular case, they're just reaching out to the women, and later on the men will come and they'll do a complete study with the whole group. So if you're interested in doing a mission trip, I'm gonna take up to 25 people with me, September twelve to twenty two. I think that's it, Jacob, we should be done with that.
September twelve to twenty two, the total cost I believe will be around $900 everything included. And so a great opportunity. If you're interested or you want to know more, please let me know. Okay, all the children can be dismissed now. You can open your Bibles to Psalm 45.
4:42 Introduction to Psalm 45
Listen carefully as we read and see if you can pick it out. So we're gonna read them. Is there any more light available up here or no? That's it? Is the lectern plugged in?
This little switch, is this thing? Yeah, that's better. This thing, how does it work? Okay, that's okay. I'll survive.
I'll survive. Now, I'm getting older, so now I need more light, you know? And I still don't want to bring my glasses, you know? But pretty soon I'm gonna give up and go ahead and admit that I need to start wearing my reading glasses. For now, I'm gonna struggle through it.
I'm gonna struggle through it. So let's go to Psalm. Oh, I thought that, thank you. I'm gonna struggle through it, brother. Thank you, I'm good, I'm good, I'm good.
Appreciate it, brother. Thank you. Okay, Psalm 45, let's read it. My heart overflows with a good theme. I address my verses to the king.
My tongue is a pen of a ready writer. Thou art fairer than the sons of men. Grace is poured upon thy lips, therefore God has blessed thee forever. Gird thy sword on thy thigh, O mighty one, in thy splendor and in thy majesty, And in thy majesty ride on victoriously for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness. Let thy right hand teach thee awesome things.
Thine arrows are sharp. The people fall under thee. Thine arrows are in the heart of the king's enemies. Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is a scepter of thy kingdom.
Thou hast loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore thy God has anointed thee with the oil of joy above thy fellows. All thy garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia. Out of the ivory palaces string instruments have made thee glad. King's daughters are among thy noble ladies.
At thy right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir. Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear. Forget your people and your father's house. Then the king will desire your beauty Because he is your lord, bow down to him. And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift.
The rich among the people will entrust, will entreat your favor. The king's daughter is all glorious within. Her clothing is interwoven with gold. She will be led to the king in embroidered work. The virgins, her companions who follow her, will be brought to thee.
They will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing. They will enter into the king's palace. In the place of your fathers will be your sons. You shall make them princes in all the earth. I will cause thy name to be remembered in all generations.
8:46 Psalm 45 is a royal wedding psalm
What is it about? Can I have somebody say, yes sir? It's a It's a wedding, exactly, exactly. It is a royal wedding. This is a royal wedding psalm.
So there's three things that you need to know about this psalm. All right, number one, it is a literal historical wedding. Number two, it's a messianic psalm, which means it's talking about Jesus Christ. And number three, it's a prophetic psalm, which is prophesying and talking about the church, that is you and me. Okay, so let's take a look at this and let's break it down.
So it's a royal wedding. Now the first thing you're going notice in the first eight verses that it talks about the king and all of his qualities. And second, you're going notice in the second part that it talks about the queen and all of her privileges, and all of her privileges. Now, do you remember way back when Princess Diana was married, who remembers that? Who remembers?
Raise your hand if you remember. All the old folks. What about the young people? Do you all know who Princess Diana is, Princess Di? Do you?
Yes or no? Yes, okay. All right, well, she's from England, and she married, okay, what was the guy's name? Charles? Was it Charles?
Right? Yes, yes, yes. Okay, Charles. And I don't know if you remember or not, but I still remember when that wedding was going to take place. Oh my word, it was the talk of the town.
Everybody talked about it, and it was in the news and the newspapers, and it was in ads, everybody was anticipating this wedding to talk about when it was going to be and how they were going to do it. And I still remember that it was at 04:00 in the morning on a Sunday morning. And all of the ladies from church, uh-oh, from church, got up early to see this wedding. And then, oh my goodness, they were talking about it, and it was on TV, and they talked about this wedding so much, and it was on the news after it happened. And everybody for weeks was talking about how wonderful this wedding was, all right?
It something incredible. Now in modern days, we have this other lady that was married over there too. Is it Pippa? What's the name of the lady that was married? No, Pippa?
No. Her sister. Kate. Who? Kate?
Is it Kate? Okay, Kate. You know that they made this big fuss about the royal wedding, and who did she marry? Not Charles too. Was Charles?
Okay. You know, this one just happened, so you know what I'm talking about, right? Okay, so you can it's in magazines, they show the lady and they had a baby and they show everywhere they go they're taking pictures of this lady, okay? So this what's the point? I'm not big on names and all that, I don't get caught up with these people, you know, but what's the point, what's the point?
This was a modern day, for their day, was a wedding that was a royal wedding, and everybody was all excited about it. And this particular person who was observing the wedding, as he looked at it and he looked at the king and all of the splendor and all the glory, he was like so moved that he says, wow. And not only he, but all the other people, as they saw this, they were like, wow. And he runs home. He goes, I'm going write about it.
I can't wait to talk about it. Have you ever had an experience like that, where you see something that's so great, such an experience that you can't wait to go home? And today you would text or email, you can't believe what I just saw, what happened. And that's exactly what's happening here. So you have to understand it that way to fully appreciate this psalm.
Even though it might sound a bit humorous, that's exactly what's happening. The writer went to the wedding and he's so excited that he can't wait to start writing. And so notice, my heart overflows with a good theme. I address the verses to the king, so he's writing about the king to the king. And notice, my tongue is a pen of a ready writer.
In other words, I can't wait to express my thoughts, and I'm going to write them out, and I'm going to talk about this king. Now, again, in order to fully appreciate this psalm, you need to understand this as well, that even though it's a historical wedding, okay, we're not sure who it was. You can look at other commentaries, and they all seem to think it was either Solomon in one of his pompous weddings or King Hezekiah, King Hezekiah who had a wedding too. I personally, my inclination that it was Solomon, but the text doesn't say that. But even in the New Testament, Jesus says, look at Solomon and how he dresses in all his glory, right?
And so Solomon had a lot of glory, a lot of greatness to him. People would come from everywhere to see him. But here's the thing that you need to understand. The Holy Spirit takes the excitement of this person who's going to write about this wedding and how the king really impacted him. The Holy Spirit says, all right, you're to be talking about that historical king, and yes, there was a wedding, but I'm talking about something greater than that.
I am going to be talking to you through your eyes, you're looking at this king as something great, but I'm going talk to you about Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And even though you're talking about that historical King, I'm really talking about Jesus. So you have to look at this Psalm to fully appreciate it and understand it correctly, you have to look at it as an absolute messianic psalm. In other words, it's speaking about Jesus. And the Holy Spirit is so excited because remember, the Spirit's job is to glorify Jesus, to talk about Jesus, to point us to Jesus.
15:13 The Holy Spirit speaks about Jesus
And so notice then, they says, I'm ready to write. I can't wait to start. He's going to start, and then the Holy Spirit says, all right, as you start writing, I'm going to take over, and I'm to use your excitement, but we're going to talk about Jesus in reality. Now I want to show you why it's really talking about Jesus even though there was really a historical wedding, because I want you to notice then the text. Verse two, Thou art fairer than the sons of men grace is poured upon thy lips, therefore God has blessed thee forever.
Notice then that he talks about forever, always, and he addresses him with uppercase form. And what we see then is the first thing the Holy Spirit says, if you know anything about Jesus, here's what you're gonna find out. He is fairer, he's more beautiful than any other man that has ever existed. All right, beautiful man of Calvary, we like to sing sometimes, right? That's one of my favorite hymns as well.
I love that because it talks about Jesus, how beautiful he is. And the Holy Spirit says, look, you want to see someone who's not going to disappoint you, someone who's absolutely beautiful inside and out, that when you see him as absolute perfection, that when he comes back and he appears in all of his glory and all of his majesty, you're gonna see you're gonna see him and say, wow. Wow. He's fairer than all of the sons of men. And then the the second thing the Holy Spirit draws our attention to is the fact that as John said in his gospel, when we saw Jesus, he was full of grace.
He was grace in truth, grace upon grace. And every time he spoke to to his people, he spoke with such gracious words. It was nothing but grace when you saw him. Now he didn't do the same with the religious people who rejected him and hated him. He talked to them harshly, but to those who were his, they said, Wow, when we saw him, he was so full of grace.
John chapter one. And so he says, Grace is poured upon thy lips, the gracious words of Jesus, the Lord Jesus reaching out to us in grace to save us and to draw us to himself, such a gracious person that he is. Therefore God, God the Father, has blessed thee, Jesus, forever, forever. Why? Because you're more fair, you're more beautiful than all of the sons of men.
Why? Because you're so full of grace and so full of truth. And we have to see these qualities in Jesus. Then he says, Gird thy sword on thy thigh, O mighty one, in thy splendor and in thy majesty. Now, as you have noticed these royal weddings, you notice that they dress in the uniforms of the Navy or whatever, one of those kind of, what do you call those outfits?
I'm so terrible. The who? The uniforms. The formal uniforms, right? Okay.
Even when you look at The Sound of Music and the guy marries the lady, right, he's in his formal outfit. I'm forgetting all the names. But you know what I'm talking about, right? Yeah the hills are alive and all that yeah okay so so when he gets married he wears that formal outfit and so this is a picture of Jesus in this beautiful outfit He's but notice though that he's yielding a sword. And sometimes when you see these men in their former outfits, they'll have that sword right there.
But here's the question, why does he have a sword? Why does he have a sword? Because when he came in the first time, he came to do battle with sin. He came to do battle with death. He came to do battle with Satan.
And he conquered, and he conquered. But why does he still have a sword? Because the Bible says that when he was exalted and lifted up, he goes, Sit at my right hand until put all thy enemies under thy feet, until I crush them. And so the Lord, if we go to Revelation chapter 19, it says that he's going to pull that sword out again because he's going to conquer the Antichrist and all the enemies of Jesus Christ. And so the battle is not over.
There's another battle to be won, and the Lord is going to be absolutely victorious. So the Lord will conquer the world, yielding a sword, destroying the enemies, and then he will rule them with the rod Rod of of iron. Iron. And so gird thy sword on thy Thy, Almighty One. Notice what he calls the Almighty One.
20:18 Jesus' majesty, truth, meekness, righteousness
Do you know anyone? Do you know any man that lives always with absolute truth and with meekness and with righteousness? Do you? I don't either. That's right.
I don't either. As wonderful as your husband may be, you can say, Yeah, but he hasn't always been truthful, and he hasn't always been meek, and he's not always righteous, but the Lord Jesus is. The Lord Jesus is. Isn't that gonna be something that's gonna blow us away to see somebody ruling the world with absolute truth? With absolute meekness?
So even though he's full of glory, even though he's so great, it's not going to get to his head. There's going be power under control. He's absolutely meek. Even Jesus said when he was on earth, I'm meek. I'm meek.
And it's going to continue being so. So Jesus is absolutely true in everything he says and does. He's meek and he's righteous. That means he always does the right thing, always does the right thing. He never does something that is unrighteous.
That is part of his character. And so the Holy Spirit is saying, look at him. Look at him in all his beauty. Look at the character of the Lord Jesus. He's more fair than all the men.
He's full of grace. Look at his majesty. Look at the fact that his qualities are truth and meekness and righteousness. And then he says, Let thy right hand teach thee awesome things. Verse five, Thine arrows are sharp, the people fall under thee.
Thine arrows are in the heart of the king's enemies. Now what this is talking about is the absolute dominion of Jesus Christ during millennial kingdom. As you know, when the kingdom starts, when Jesus returns in all of his glory and the kingdom starts, that a lot of people who survive the tribulation are going to enter into the kingdom. And those people who survived are going to be procreating. And consequently, they're going to procreate, even though it's a millennial kingdom and Jesus is ruling, they're going to procreate people with sinful natures.
And within those sinful natures, there's going to be rising up because there's a thousand year reign. There's going to be rising up within that time a lot of people and leaders and people are going to rise up, and some people are going to try to rebel against the Lord Jesus. And so this is talking about, Thine arrows are sharp, the people fall under thee. Thine arrows are in the heart of the king's enemies. During that time, Jesus will not tolerate any injustice.
He will not tolerate any rebellion. He will not tolerate any kind of sinfulness or bribery or cheating. Immediately his enemies will be crushed and the arrows will penetrate them and they'll be put under his feet, because to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Revelation chapter one and verse six. And then in the midst of talking about Jesus in this way, there's even something greater.
24:08 Heavenly declaration: Thy throne, O God
What a declaration that Jesus is God. And so the God man, the God man returns in all of his glory to reign on the earth. And so the declaration comes, Thy throne, O God. That's talking about Jesus. Jesus, you are God, and your throne is forever and ever.
A scepter of uprightness is a scepter of thy kingdom. And so the God man, fully God and fully man, is gonna be sitting on his throne in Jerusalem with a scepter. You know the scepter's that thing with a little bar on top that talks about his authority and his power and his dominion, that if you were to come into his presence without him approving through the scepter, you'd be immediately annihilated. Of course, he's not going to be that type of ruler. But what he's talking about is that those in the kingdom who try to rebel against him, that scepter is going to be there.
But it's always going to be the right thing. He always is going be a scepter of uprightness, of uprightness following that thought. Oh, by the way, Hebrews chapter one and verse six quotes this particular psalm and that particular verse, proving again the deity of Jesus Christ. For those of you who encounter someone who says Jesus wasn't God, you can take them to this verse, and then you can take them to Hebrews chapter one and show how the Bible clearly declares Jesus to be God. So you can do a little investigation yourself, and you will truly be blessed by it.
Verse seven, thou hast loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Again, notice how many times it talks about his character, how he loves righteousness. He never does anything wrong. He's always true to his character in every judgment. Every time he says to someone, you're going to be condemned in the millennial because of what you did, it's always going to be the right thing, because nobody's going to fool Jesus because he's fully God.
And he's to stop any kind of unrighteousness or bribery or cheating and all of the things that go along with our governments of the day and all the greed and everything else. As we were saying last night in our college and career meeting, they get away with murder. Well, not here. When Jesus is ruling, that's gonna be over. It's gonna be over.
Praise God. Praise God. Verse seven, the second part. Therefore God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of joy above all thy fellows. Oh, by the way, do you know that in heaven where Jesus is right now, do you know that he's full of joy?
Because He's absolutely in control of everything. He doesn't say, Oh, oh my goodness. I can't believe what Russia is doing right now. Should have stopped biting my nose. What's going to happen?
He's in control. He's in control. And He's full of joy. In fact, He said in John, I'm going to give you my joy, and no one can take away my joy that I give you. He's in heaven happy, full of joy.
He's not disappointed or frustrated or tired like, oh, man, I can't believe the way things happened and worked out for me. That's not true. He's full of joy. Isn't that great to know? We don't have the mean God up there all mad.
27:57 Jesus' love flows towards you
There on the eternal throne, high and lifted up, is a man in a battle scarred body. The man Christ Jesus, the eternal uncreated son of the living God. His is to be a permanent government. And and he's up there in his bio scarred body, but he's full of joy because he conquered for the joy that was set before him. Hebrews 11.
And so there he is then, full of joy. And notice in verse 11, All thy garments are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia. Out of the ivory palaces instruments have made thee glad. And so he's up there, and he's dressed in his majestic clothes, and there's choir, and they're singing, and there's worship going on, and it's going to continue when he comes down to the earth to reign. Now, you can see then that at this point the wedding is all about the king.
What happened to the wife? What happened to the wife? In these weddings that I talked about in the beginning, it's all about the girl, right? All about the woman in the white dress and all her beauty and they talk about it and everything that God didn't even know who he was. Who did she marry, right?
In this case, it's the total opposite. It's all about Jesus. It's all about the groom and and the bride is out of the picture. But notice then, notice the shift. All of a sudden, the queen appears, and this is a picture of Jesus and his bride.
Because when we have a right relationship with Jesus, we want it to be about him. But notice, though, when it talks about the bride, the church, this is a tremendous prophecy, tremendous prophecy about us. He's going to talk about all of the privileges that we have. It's kind of like an exhortation. It's like if you're at a wedding and he says, now let me give you a couple of words of advice as you're going to enter into this beautiful relationship.
And this is the Holy Spirit telling us, now here's the king. He bought you with his blood. Now you belong to him. As it says in Romans seven, I have betrothed you to a new husband, Jesus. Now that you belong to him, listen to what it says, verse nine.
The king's daughters, that would be you and I, are among thy noble ladies. At thy right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir. And so the literal wedding, you would have the queen come in, and she's all decked out in beauty. And as this prophecy is being fulfilled through the church, it's us standing at the side of Jesus. Now notice then what it says to us.
Verse 10. Listen, oh daughter, and give attention and incline your ear. Pay attention. Forget your people and your father's house. What is this talking about?
That when you turn to Jesus for the salvation of your soul, you leave the past behind. It doesn't mention anything about her past, anything about her thing, but one thing it says is forget it, forget your people, forget it. It's just like when you get married, you don't marry mom and dad too. You leave your mother and father, right, and you cling. It's the same idea.
When you come to Jesus, you leave the world behind and everything that comes with it. Now I'm going to quote to you, by the way, I recommend every time a book, this by John Phillips, Exploring the Psalms, tremendous, tremendous. Listen to what he says concerning this text. And I'm going to read it to you so hopefully I can I have enough I'm going get to where there's light, okay? It says, The wedding is over.
The cake has been cut. The confetti's thrown. Tom and his bride it's a fiction name, right? Tom and his bride are alone at last. As the car pulls away amidst the the cheers and the well wishers of the guest a supposed bride moves away from her groom Tom she says please take me home He looks at her in astonishment, home?
He exclaims, but Kathy, you know our home won't be ready for a couple of couple more weeks. We're gonna we're gonna... We're going to our honeymoon. I can't take it to your home. The heat and the water aren't connected yet.
Oh, she says, I don't mean your home, I mean to my home. Take me back to my mother. Look, Tom, now that we're married, I'll try to see you once a week if it's convenient, but I'm going back to my old way of life. Oh, of course I love you, Tom. I've accepted you as my husband, haven't I?
We just settled all that. But don't think that it's going to change the way I live, of course. If I get sick or if I need money or if something comes up I can't handle, I'll call you right away. And I expect you to take care of things because you are my husband. But in the meantime, thank you for loving me.
Thank you for making me yours, but hands off my life. That would not be a marriage. That would be a mockery. And yet, that is the way thousands of professing believers treat the Lord Jesus, end quote. Wow, I was really, really convicted by that, really convicted.
And so forget your people, verse 10, and your father's house, and your father's house. Verse 11, then the king would desire your beauty. You know, in many ways, I think that as believers, we have to make ourselves holy and somehow try to woo the Lord Jesus. So then the Lord would desire your beauty because here's your Lord. Notice, here's your Lord.
34:27 Prophetic psalm talking about Jesus
He saved you. He bought you. You belong to him. Leave your father's house. He saved you from your past.
He gave you new life. Now he's your God. Bow down. Bow down. Now, I know a lot of you men were thinking or wishing they would be literal talking about, you see, wife, you're supposed to bow down to me.
No, no, no, no. It's talking about the church bowing down to Jesus. So you can't run home and read that to her. Good try. Verse 12, And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift.
The rich among the people will entreat your favor. And I believe this speaks about how when we worship Him and we approach the Lord, we bring gifts to Him. We wanna give to Him our offerings and some of our own life to the Lord Jesus. Verse 13, notice how important, the king's daughter is all glorious within. Her clothing is interwoven with gold.
Notice, don't miss it, glorious within, inside. That is the power of Jesus to clean you from sin and your past and and all of that unrighteousness that was in our lives. He cleansed us by the blood of Jesus. Now hold your finger there and let's go to Revelation nineteen:seven-nine, and look at how beautiful this is fulfilled through the church. Revelation 19: verse seven to nine.
Notice this, Chapter 19, verse seven through nine. Okay, I think everybody's about there. Let us rejoice and be glad and give glory to him, that's to Jesus, for the marriage of the lamb has come and his bride, you and I, have made herself ready. And it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen bright and clean for the fine linen is a righteous acts of the saints wow And so we get an interpretation from Revelation as to what it means. Let's go back to Psalm 45.
Go back to Psalm 45. Verse 13, The king's daughter is all glorious within, the cleansing work of Jesus, removing all sin out of the way. Her clothing is interwoven with gold. And so there again, the clothing speaks of our righteous acts, what we do for Jesus. Our righteous character put on by Christ, take off the old, as he said, and put on the new, put on Jesus.
And so the king's daughter, you and I, are glorious within the cleansing of sin, the renewal through the Holy Spirit where he makes us new, and her clothing is interwoven with gold. And she will be led to the king in embroidered work. And this talks about when the time when the king finally calls us home, either to the rapture or when you die and he brings you in. We're led into the king's presence. Wow, what a glorious day.
What a glorious day. We're going be led into the king's presence to be with them. And verse 15, and they will be led forth with gladness and rejoicing. They will enter into the king's palace. And I'm telling you, what what a thrill, what an excitement that we look forward to seeing the Lord Jesus in all of his glory, in all of his beauty, and we're going to be with him forever.
Aren't you excited about that day? Wow. What tremendous psalm. And so the embroidered work, the embroidered work is the work of the saints. Right now we work.
We do work for God as we're preparing ourselves for the day that we get to meet the Lord Jesus. And when we do go to meet Jesus, we wanna have gifts to give him, don't we, as the Bible says? And laid him down at his feet and said, look, this is for you, my king and my lord. And I want to close in with verse sixteen and seventeen. In place of your fathers will be your sons, you shall make them princesses in all the earth.
And again, can go to Revelation chapter one, and it says, We're going to be priests and kings before the Lord. And verse 17, I will cause thy name, now this is the name of Jesus, to be remembered in all generations. Guess what we're doing right now? We're remembering his name through all generations. Therefore, the people will give thee thanks forever and ever.
Again, we know that speaking about Jesus, because it was an earthly king here, he died. But this is a giving of thanks forever and ever, and that's where we're at right now. We're in thee. We praise you. We give you thanks.
39:51 Worshiping the beautiful Lord Jesus
Forget your people and your father's house, then the king will desire your beauty, and because he's your Lord your God, bow down to him. Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus, as the Holy Spirit has revealed to us who you are, we have gained a deeper appreciation of you. The Holy Spirit has caused us to love him more, to worship him, to bow down to him. You won our worship. And Lord, we bow right now.
And we praise you and exalt you, and say that we love you, and you're glorious, and altogether beautiful. Your name be praised and blessed. In Jesus' name, amen.
